The catering for the conference was managed by Aria Fine Catering in partnership with True Catering. “With thorough planning, meticulous design, and outstanding collaboration with the True Catering team, we successfully met the high standards of this conference. As emphasized during the event, and a belief we hold firmly, synergies are our future, and only through teamwork can we move forward.”
The 9th “Our Ocean Conference” aimed to tackle critical issues such as sustainable tourism in coastal areas and islands, reducing marine pollution from plastics and microplastics, promoting green shipping, and facilitating the green transition in the Mediterranean. This significant event, organized by the Greek Government at the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center (SNFCC), brought together 1,600 participants, including heads of state, ministers, researchers, oceanographers, and representatives from international organizations.
Executing the 9th “Our Ocean Conference” was a major and challenging task. Strict security regulations and the presence of numerous catering stations throughout the SNFCC heightened the complexity over the two-day conference. Notably, we avoided the use of plastic or paper utensils, opting exclusively for reusable glass and porcelain materials.
