Our team worked tirelessly to ensure every detail was flawless, offering attendees an experience that we believe lived up to the highest expectations.
Of exceptional importance for the European community of orthodontists, the conference that was held for the first time in 1907, this year took place in the Alexandra Trianti Hall of the Megaron Athens Concert Hall.
Its organization required impeccable service and a high level of quality and professionalism. We responded to these requirements by providing a purely Greek menu, designed based on the dietary needs and preferences of the participants. The menu included local recipes from various regions of Greece: Tarta with fava beans of Santorini and tomato meatballs – both classic Cycladic recipes – burgers with soutzoukaki reminiscent of Thessaloniki and Northern Greece in general, traditional Cretan salad with barley bread, tomatoes and capers, and much more.
The presentation of all the dishes was inspired by the Greek tradition
The presentation of all the dishes was also inspired by the Greek tradition. In the foyer of the A. Triantis hall, we created “fruit shops” full of Greek fruit in cages, and “grocery shops” with traditional products, such as semolina halva, on large wooden boards.
We attend to the issue of dietary requirements/allergies/intolerances with extra care.
QR code markings were in prominent places in the wider area of the event, to inform the delegates about their daily food menu, with all the necessary nutritional markings for extra protection.
In front of each dish there were menu cards (Greek – English) and with the necessary markings (vegan, lactose free, etc.).
At all lunch bag distribution points there were visible cards with nutritional information.
A separate station with Halal certification was provided at the lunch buffet.
At the end of the even all excess & unconsumed foods are offered to Boroume (“WE CAN”) a non-profit organization with the aim to reduce food waste and food insecurity in Greece
